Verbal Intervention TM Training teaches participants to recognize the stages of an escalating crisis and evidenced-based techniques to appropriately de-escalate the situation. This program is based on the latest principles in adult learning with an emphasis on techniques that can be immediately used.
The focus of Verbal Intervention TM Training is to build the knowledge and skills to recognize and manage crisis behaviors employees may encounter in the workplace.
Verbal Intervention TM Training consists of a series of online training modules followed by an in-person (or virtual) group training session.

A course fee ($40.99 + $2.23 AccessIdaho registration fee) is associated with this training to cover costs of training materials provided by Crisis Prevention Institute.
Upon registering for a class, participants will receive an e-mail approximately one week prior to the class with instructions on how to complete the required online modules before joining the training. The online modules are expected to take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
