Over the past 18 months, we have focused on improving the quality, consistency, and efficiency of Luma personnel actions. Through updated resources and strong collaboration between our Operations HR and Systems HR teams, we have significantly improved the quality of actions submitted through Luma. One of the biggest changes has been transitioning agency HR data approvals to a centralized DHR Systems team. Before personnel actions move to agency fiscal offices, DFM, and SCO, our Systems team reviews the data to ensure it is complete, accurate, and ready to move through the approval process with minimal delays.
Our focus is simple: get actions right the first time. While there will always be situations that require corrections, our goal is to submit actions that do not need to be returned at any stage of the Luma approval process. This reduces processing time, improves efficiency, minimizes delays for employees, and allows our Operations HR teams to spend less time correcting actions and more time supporting agencies and employees. By combining the expertise of our Operations HR teams with a centralized group of Luma specialists, we are improving data quality, creating greater consistency across agencies, and building a more efficient process for everyone. The numbers reflect that success.
